Personal Trivia

Fun Fact 1

What is your favorite book?

The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak, which is a novel about the poet, Rumi. I love when you find little pieces of overlap between yourself and the characters in a novel.

Fun Fact 2

Dogs or cats?

Dogs, for sure. I grew up with a chocolate lab, but I would also be happy with a golden retriever. They’re just so easy and happy and fun to be around.

Fun Fact 3

What did you like about rowing crew in high school?

We lived in Chevy Chase, Maryland, at the time, and so we practiced on the Potomac. There is nothing like rowing under the Key Bridge and past the Kennedy Center at 7:00 in the morning.
